Hi guys, well it's been 2 weeks now since I had my Nephroureterectomy, all seems well except for one thing, I have started to have the most awful night sweats, I have never had these before, could they perhaps be a side effect from the surgery itself or maybe from the daily blood thinning injections? Had anyone else experienced this? Grateful for any input.
Oh yes, the night sweats! A lot of forum members have these from a variety of cancers. I had these back in April/May but I'm on immunotherapy, not a nephrectomite. Speak to your CMS and they'll be able to give you something. Mine preceded my immunotherapy going a bit bleugh and I took a short course in steroids.to get me back on track. Not had a drenching night sweat since although sometimes I am a bit clammy.
I think it's because your body is fighting what's going on in your system, and it's trying to cool down, hence the sweat to get rid of the heat.
