Hi All
I have just had the biopsy results ftom a tumour in my breast and its secondary kidney cancer.
I know this is rare but does anyone have any experience of this?
Thanks
Lissa
Hi Lissa and a very warm welcome to the online community which I hope you'll find is both an informative and supportive place to be.
I don't have the experience you're looking for but noticed that your post hadn't had any replies yet. Responding to you will 'bump' your post back to the top of the discussion list where it'll be more easily seen.
When you feel up to it, it would be great if you could pop something about about your diagnosis and treatment so far into your profile as it really helps others when replying to you and also when looking for someone on a similar pathway. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.

Hi Lissa, l am sorry not to have responded. I am unable to offer advice re your diagnosys but welcome you to the forum. You will find lots of tremendous advice and friendship. "Latchbrook" always offers very sage help as do many others. I should know l've been hanging around for over a yesr now and still get good advice. Wishing you well and try and stay cool in the heatwave. Love from Adrian ( Suffolkflyer)
Thanks so much. Its rare for a kc met to be in a breast. So I'm hoping someone other than Dr Google has some pearls of wisdom.
Ooh Dr. Google, be careful about that, even NHS websites get it wrong. I looked up my diagnosys was a 4mth existance. Well l here, happy comfortable, active and at 77yrs going strong. OK had some hiccups but tickety boo and chipper. Rely on you Oncology team. Love Adrian.
P.S That's what l think anyway!
Hi Alissa,
Welcome to the cancer community we are a very helpful, friendly and informative group, I have not heard of your diagnosis but I am sure they will be someone on the group that maybe able to help you, please do not look on Google as my friends have said it would be better to ask the professionals on the Macmillan community they are very knowledgeable and will be able to answer any questions you may have as well as your oncology team, nice to have you join our group and I hope you have answers soon.
Take care love Sandy xx
Hi Lissa
I had a radical nephrectomy just over 7 weeks ago. Before my op I had an MRI scan and I received a letter to say that they had found a breast abnormality…….fortunately I-was seen by the breast care team and it was a cyst.
I just wanted to say that I am sorry that you find yourself in this position and I hope that they can sort you out a treatment plan quickly.
As Adrian and Sandy have already said, this group is friendly and supportive and have built up some knowledge between us.
Let us know how you get on.
Bug hugs, Jules xx
Thanks Jules.
My breast lesion is definitely a kidney cancer met not the results are in.
Its fooled the booby man completely as he though it was a cyst. The consultant radiographer thought a benign lump as it was vascular but the bugger is a kidney metastases.
Hoping its just one hitchhiker which means a lumpectomy and back to NED.
