I'm 14 days post op 13 inch cut left side removal of cancer 2cm mass my wound feels very tight and pressure I struggle to get out of bed I get a sharp tearing pain in my hip when I try to get up and I can barely walk anyone feel the same way?
did you have your left kidney out or was it just the tumour, I felt a bit tight for a few days, but everyone is different and heal at different times, I had my left kidney and spleen removed I did find it difficult to walk after my op, not sure if someone else on this site can tell you anymore, I hope you recover soon take care Sandy
I had my kidney removed 6 years ago, was in agony for weeks, could not move without pain, took 6 weeks just to get in an out of bed ok, but after 3 months eased a lot. I’ve just had a tumour removed on my remaining kidney, been home 4 days, as it was robotic surgery, totally different, not even taking pain relief. I hope all goes well, I’m sure it will heal very soon xx
