Hi, first post , during a routine scan they found i had renal cell carcinoma at 2.5cm and put me on 6 month observation scans... quite worried that when they scan me in August it will of grown really big... any ideas as what to expect..
Kidney cancer is usually very slow growing, watch and wait is quite common for tumours under 3cm apparently but I totally understand your concern. Good luck
Thank you, does slightly ease my mind... total removal of my kidney is my only treatment, but diabetes has given me CKD and the op will leave me needing dialysis so I hope it grows very very slowly.. even backwards lol..
