So after a year of immunotherapy after a radical in March 2024 I have just had a recorrence in the renal bed around 2cm . I was stage 3 grade 3 so when my oncologist asked for a face to face after a scan instead of a phone call I feared the worst . I’m unsure if this is a good result or not . They are going to zap it with radiotherapy . I’m not sure if this means the start of Mets or not .?

I am sorry that you have not yet had a reply to your question but sometimes it can just take a few days longer for someone in similar circumstances to see it and be able to offer support.
I am sorry to hear that you have had a recurrence of your cancer and I hope that you can get to see your consultant soon to get clarification about your radiotherapy and next steps.
It sounds like you have had a local recurrence rather than metastatic disease as this would normally be where cancer has gone further afield, away from the original site.
I wish you well with your radiotherapy (mine was in 2022) and if there is anything you need in the meantime, please let us know.
