My diagnosis, treatment and getting to this point feels like a lifetime but in fact I was only diagnosed last October, my full story is in my bio.
I've just started on immunotherapy atezolizumab and really struggling, in need of some advice on coping. About 3 weeks before starting I was having a bad bout of fatigue and lose of appetite, I put this down to stress as I was moving home. Even though I was feeling better before starting I was still not feeling 100% and then my white blood count came back high, again I went through all my symptoms and it was felt that I could carry on, and had my treatment last Tuesday.
This past week I have felt like I'm in a fog, I have little appetite in the morning I'm running with sweat then I'm pulling on as many layers as possible. By far the worse is my lower back pain has flared up so I can only manage a few steps before needing to sit down. I spoke to my consultant yesterday he's not overly worried but is ordering a scan just to check.
I think I was being slightly naive as the chemo didn't affect me that much.
