Made the phone call to check the referral was received for a robotic in another town, nothing received.
Very nice lady is calling people to check why not received yet as was about 5 weeks ago.
Speechless.This is 2nd time.
At least I called. Ball should start rolling again.

Oh dear, Muvva. I am so sorry you are having problems still with this, but glad someone is on your case. (I just spoke with a neighbour who had similar surgery to me, and he said he ended up ringing the nurses/surgeon/every number he could find, up to six times a day until somebody rang him back!! That was for a blood test he was supposed to be having.)
I know we've just had a long bank holiday and many of the staff don't seem to work at those times and the ones that do, are the nurses who are usually not the ones who can help outside of the actual in-patient situation. However, this is not directly connected to the bank holiday if this has ben pending for 5 weeks!
Hopefully the lady you spoke with, will move things on now. However, perhaps it might be worth nagging them if you don't hear back within a reasonable time. I would estimate, a reasonable time should be about 48 hours. If you've heard nothing back by then, ring again. And again if you need to.
I suspect from what you say, that the lady you've spoken with today will be on the case now, however.

Hi muvva, so sorry your going through this , my wife phoned constantly everyday til I got answers otherwise I don't know how long I'd have waited , hopefully things get moving now for you I wish you all the best

So glad you are feeling happier, Muvva. Being in control is a big part of that (as well as the sunshine!), and when you ring them and nag them, you are in control, as far as you possibly can be.
There are things in life we cannot possibly control, so the things that we can, I believe that we need to!!
Isn't there a saying or something:?: like, "give us the courage to change the things we can change, the serenity to accept the things we cannot change, and the wisdom to know the difference".
