I have posted here before about how fast everything happened for me. Was due left radical nephrectomy yesterday.
Was asked to go in early to prevent any delays etc
Around 1.30pm op cancelled... I'm not angry or upset the person before me had complications.
Now sat here waiting for a call. I had prepped the kids as much a possible informed school cancelled things and hubby booked carers and annual leave.
I have also been off work for 4 weeks since acute gallbladder attack and removal (still very sore).
I'm lucky i am paid (very basic pay) for 4 months but I'm worried if this drags on I may end up unpaid off work.
Anyway just my little vent. The nurses were lovely and said it should be rescheduled asap. Back to waiting by the phone ....
