Bet you are glad to be back home again Phil, hospitals are never relaxing !! Hope your healing goes well too.

You asked elsewhere how I am getting on. Well I am generally quite good now thanks, just some slight niggles and aches around the wound and near the ribs on the side kidney was removed but not taking pain relief much now. Staples are out and dressing is off and healing is going well - still a bit swollen - there were 46 staples in it. Nurse is checking again on Monday. I have been out for some short walks which tires me out a bit by the afternoon. Sleeping generally ok and not so much on my back now. I weigh 9lb less now than I did before the op!!!
