Went for my biopsy results yesterday, it confirmed I have kidney cancer, the good news it's a slow growing cancer. The treatment im going to have is the freezing under general anesthetic. This should happen in the next couple of weeks. Feeling relieved.
Hi Izzy13
Whilst I'm sure you'd have preferred not having a cancer diagnosis at all, that's great news that your cancer is a slow growing type.
I'm not a member of this forum but I'm sure the members here will be happy to share any experiences they've had or answer any questions you might have.
It would be great if you could put something about your diagnosis and proposed treatment into your profile as it really helps others when replying to you and also when looking for someone on a similar pathway. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.
Wishing you all the best with your treatment
