Hello.
I have recently been diagnosed with a 10.5cm tumour in left kidney with spread to right kidney, lymph and both lungs. I am to have an ultrasound led biopsy under sedation on 31st May, has anyone had experience of this? My husband has Alzheimers and I would like some idea of the recovery time. I'm also worried I will cough during the procedure. Thanks
Hi Dena. I am waiting for a biopsy so can't help on that side of things. Just thinking about your husband and the support you are going to need in the coming months - it might be worth contacting the Alzheimers Society to see if they can recommend support for both of you.
Very best wishes Kirsty
Thanks Kirsty
I have a couple of numbers for information and support, if I need it and will add the Alzheimers association to the list. I hope I won't need them but I will happier if I have a plan in place.
Good luck with your biopsy and treatment and thanks for your reply
Dena
