So today I have submitted a complaint to my hospital. I was diagnosed with a tumor on my kidney in November 2021, in 13 months I have seen a consultant once. I have had 2 CT scans. I had a ultrasound in November because of radiation. It's been 10 weeks since that scan and I still have not been sent an appointment to discuss results and treatment next steps. I have had no welfare calls. I feel like I am still at step one when I was diagnosed.
Hello Chris x Welcome to the forum.
Well done you on being strong enough emotionally to raise a complaint. It can be really hard to push forward when you are feeling vulnerable at the same time.
i had lots of waiting and in fact a number of us have and this being in limbo is just the worst state to be in.
Lets hope you get seen soon and hopefully receive a treatment plan.
Do keep posting we are right with you x
Big hugs Jules xx
