Hi today was the start of part 2 of my journey after almost a year (tomorrow I had a radical nephrectomy with robotic surgery then a full radical due to size of tumor having a party behind my kidney) I undertook a immunotherapy trial after 3 months which involved infusion and blood monitoring tests. Also a schedule of CT scans and the last one showed that there has been a growth in my lymph nodes in my throat and lungs only small but until it's investigated they need to see if it's connected to RCC our unrelated and possibly more like lung cancer.
I need a capacity breathing assessment next week before I have an endoscopy and samples taken for biopsies.
It's always there and I know that I have been extremely lucky after having appendicitis 2 years ago which basically saved my life otherwise my friend would have been having a full world tour of my bloodstream.
As I have said before my wife who is also going through this with me and must be really hard for her to support me and deal with this situation as well she was also at the consultation and helped me with basically taking it all in again
