Hi just trying to get my head around today after a CT scan 4 weeks ago I was called to go and see my consultant today to discuss my scan against previous results.
Last scan showed a small growth in my lymph nodes in chest and growth in my lungs following my total nephrectomy last year unfortunately my latest scan showed an increase in size moving forward awaiting a MDT meeting as it now involves other disciplines ie. Chest and Lungs .
As I have said before it's a team effort my wife who has also been through this with me and supported me as well as Florence Nightingale duties which I can never repay received this news together so had a little moment ( it's not easy to admit that I was worried as she doesn't like S Club 7 on my ritual of singing on the way home after a rubbish consultation)
So my friend is still there but thankfully as I was on my immunotherapy trial with regular CT scans and blood tests it has been noticed earlier.
Trying to stay positive and have decided to enjoy myself and try not to dwell on things I can't control.
I know that people are in worse situations than me as believe me I have had my IV,s of a Chemotherapy day ward and their spirit is fantastic.
