My husband has recently been offered the above treatment for his cancer. Does anyone know or have any other experience of this please. At first it sounded quite promising but a recent letter from the hospital re side effects has put abit of doubt in it. The cancer is metastatic kidney cancer and is now showing up on the soas muscle

I don't have any experience with SABR treatment but I noticed that you hadn't had any replies to your post. One thing that I do have experience with though is being told of a long list of side effects for treatment. The important thing to remember is that although they have to tell you about every possible side effect it doesn't mean your husband will get them all or any of them.
I have searched the group to see if there are any previous posts about SABR treatment but only found one where it was mentioned. The poster was so I've 'tagged' them into my reply in the hope that they will pop in and tell you how they got on.
