Immunotherapy results

Brilliant news!  Really pleased for you - your event motivated me to sign-up so I could reply :-)    I meet my Oncologist for the first time on Tuesday and this is one of the drugs I reckon may be in-scope for me.   

I wish you all the luck in the world. This is second line treatment for me but I think it may be used as a first treatment now xx

Brilliant news, I’ve just finished a combination of Ipilmumab and Nivolumab & my oncologist said that my secondary kidney cancer that had spread to my right lung has almost disappeared 

Hi I’m similar to you I got diagnosed with kidney cancer in my right kidney last November, I had my kidney removed last December & on my 1st CT scan it showed secondary kidney cancer in my right lung, I’ve been on a combination of Ipilmumab and Nivolumab for the last 12 weeks & it has almost disappeared, I’m now just on Nivolumab & hoping that it carries on the great work that the combination did. I’ve had minor side effects, aches & pains in muscles and joints and itchy skin but other than those it’s going well so far, good luck with your treatment 

That's good news. Hoping for similar results with my hubby who has just started this treatment. He had a kidney removed 30 years ago.

I've had really dry skin and my joints ache but I have arthritis and have had to stop my treatment for that so I put the joint pain down to that. It could be either I suppose but it's minor in reality.
