So, its been a whirlwind few weeks!!
Mid March the result of a scan for something unrelated showed I had a tumour on my kidney and was referred to a urologist.
A week later I met with the surgeon who explained I needed surgery and he could fit me in on 7th April.
I had no symptoms from the kidney tumour at all so this was quite a surprise!!
I had my left kidney removed and am now home recovering. I am so grateful for our amazing NHS, the wonderful staff in Arrowe Park Hospital and the care and support I received.
Got my results today which show I had a 9cm tumour and there's no spread of cancer.
I'm very lucky that they got it all and that I may not need any other treatment.
Just blood tests and regular scans.
So there you have it! My last month in a nutshell.
Stay safe, stay positive. Xxx
Thank you!! Good luck on your journey too, sending you positivity for the best outcome!
