I am new to this and have had 4 rounds of EC and just had 4 of 12 Paclataxel.
Most of my hair fell out in 1st 3 weeks but seems to have come to a standstill. Will it start growing back sooner?
Hi SPGJ
I had the same treatment as you and lost most of my hair in the first few weeks. However, towards the end of the paclitaxel treatment it was growing back.
Hi
My hair loss journey was different - my hair was patchy and I eventually shaved it off half way through chemo as it looked so awful. It then seemed to come to a standstill, I had bald patches and stubbly bits until chemo finished but no more new growth. I had managed to keep my eye brows and eyelashes throughout chemo but then 3 or 4 weeks after it finished all my hair completely fell out - and I mean everything. I found this really difficult as I thought I was over the worst, a couple of weeks after this it started to grow back and grew back quite quickly, my eyebrows and eyelashes are still sparse but I think that’s probably due to the Phesgo. Good luck with everything.
