I’ve been receiving chemotherapy treatment for nearly a year now, with no clear end in sight at the moment. I’d love to connect with anyone(aged 25-29) who are also currently going through treatment(if you live in London, even better!). I’ve tried navigating this experience largely alone, and it’s getting too hard. Feel free to message if you’re in the same boat as me, or know someone that is, I’d love to connect!

Hi Andrew W25 and a warm welcome to this corner of the Community. I am Mike and I help out around our various Lymphoma groups.
I don’t have Hodgkin's Lymphoma but I have been on my journey with two rare types of T-Cell NHL for over 25 years so although my Lymphoma ‘type’ is different I most definitely appreciate the challenges of this journey rather well.
You may want to check out Lymphoma Action. Lymphoma Action is the main UK Lymphoma Specific Charity who have lots of good reliable information, videos..... basically all things Lymphoma....... pre, during and post treatment.
They run various Support Platforms… I highly recommend these groups as this will widen your support base and there is nothing better than ‘talking’ with others who have walked or are walking the same journey…… especially in their monthly young adults group.
Their Closed FB group alone is coming up to 6000 members and unfortunately you would most likely bump into me on there also ;)
They also have a great Buddy Service where you and/or you can be linked up with someone who has walked the same support/treatment journey.
The LA helpline is open every week day from 10 till 3 on 0808 808 5555. This is a safe place to talk things through and get support.
You may also want to check to see if you have a Maggie's Centre in your area as these folks are amazing and most centres do run monthly Heamatology Support Groups and the one I attend does have a number of people with HL who are your age….. so worth checking.
