Hie everyone , I'm new here. I was diagnosed with hodgkin's lymphoma in March 2024 and started ABVD in April 2024 and finished 6 cycles in September 2024. In October 2024 noticed new lymph nodes and started GDP in December 2024

  • Hi  and a warm welcome to this corner of the Community although I am sorry to see you joining us. I am Mike and I help out around our various Lymphoma groups.

I don’t have Hodgkin's Lymphoma but for some context I was diagnosed way back in 1999 at 43 with a rare (8 in a million) incurable but treatable type of Cutaneous T-Cell NHL (a type of slow growing Low-grade non-Hodgkin lymphoma) ……. eventually reaching Stage 4a in late 2013 when a second, also rare (4 in a million) type of aggressive Peripheral T-Cell NHL (a type of fast growing High-grade non-Hodgkin lymphoma) was then presenting so although my Lymphoma ‘type’ is different I most definitely appreciate the challenges of this journey rather well.

More so as I relapsed multiply times over my first 16 years….. with the longest remission being 9 months…… but here I am, 9+ years out from my last treatment, I turned 69 last Nov and am living a great life…… this can be done.

  • Hi  welcome to the forum. I was diagnosed with Hodgkin's (St 4B) in Jan 2024 and went through 4 cycles of escBEACOPPdac from March to July.

How are you finding / coping with the new treatment?

  • It's much better than ABVD, it's only that I'm having a challenge with thrush
