Hi all just to give a quick update had my results on Monday and got another all clear so very happy, very strange feeling so many emotions prior to getting the news preparing for the worst but hoping for best… this cancer came out of the blue last October and so much has happened since then with all the scans and preparations for the treatment over Christmas. My life very much was on hold whilst we battled this awful diagnosis.
But now 9 months on I’m happy to have the positive news .. albeit wary that I’m not out of the woods yet and will await the next scan no doubt with some trepidation in January. But for now it time to enjoy the news and next few months!
I often come here to see how others are doing and really think the champions do such a wonderful job with all the newly diagnosed and just anyone who has a worry about something related to their treatment or just how they are feeling. It’s such a rollercoaster and it’s good to know that positive people are out there thinking of you. So thanks you all for your continued contributions as you really understand what it’s like to be on this journey.
Good luck to anytime just starting out or going through treatment now … it’s tough but stay positive you can beat it!
Helen
