Hi everyone,
I just wanted to share some recent updates. I had some issues over the summer and a few scares; but, I'm very happy to report that my most recent scan (PET this time, due to my oncologist's concerns) came back ALL CLEAR! I'm am so very grateful, and the news was quite welcomed. I just thank God every day.
I also had an another scare in the women's health world; and, yesterday I underwent and endometrial biopsy. I'm also very happy to report that my biopsy came back benign! Whew. Now, I will be planning a total hysterectomy in the months to come. My husband I and I do not have children; but, I'm 47 now and I've suffered a long time with these issues. It's a little sad, but, I'm ready for the next steps.
I know that a lot of folks on here express about the side effects they are still experiencing from treatment, months to years on. I wish that we didn't go through these things! Please keep going and keep fighting! Treatment is hard and recovery is harder, but, you can do it! I never thought I could; and, I'm still here
Again many thanks to this support group and all the advice, suggestions, and kind words that you share with all of us. Wishing everyone the best from Phoenix, Arizona~Tara
