I’ve just been to collect a prescription for duraphat toothpaste and the pharmacy wants to charge me £55 they said this is because it was a private prescription ( not with a nhs dentist) can anyone help or give me info on wether this is something I need to pay for? Or is there another way to get this?
thanks Clare
Clare, If you run into opposition then tell your GP that he has special dispensation to prescribe a dental preparation for HNC patients who do not have access to an NHS dentist
