Hello
Just an update, hubby is due you have a rig fitted on weds next week and the Ng tube taken out, hopefully things will go well as I think he's going through enough already
Anyone else had a rig fitted? Was it an easy process
Thanks
Jen
Hi Jen, i had a RIG fitted before my treatment, the fitting is painless, I had an overnight stay in hospital just so they can keep an eye on it. They gave me lots of painkillers when they discharged me, it can be painful for the first few days with cramping, so it's important to keep ahead with painkillers. Once it settles its fine, he will be shown how to flush it out and how to use it for feeds etc.
