Hello everyone. We just had a call from the hospital and they want to repeat Richs latest MRI next week. I see that this can be down to moving during the mri etc, but obviously I’m having a panic.
How often does this happen? He’s only about eight months out from radiotherapy, and NED on last scan three months ago.
Hi Doramouse2736a33 (43ca3394ff6e4902889bc4e8004f4dbd Maybe your husbands CNS can throw some light on this so give them a call. I know the radiographers taking these scans usually make sure the scans are readable before they send them on for the radiologist to read.
Did your husband have contrast with his MRI? If not maybe the radiologist just requested one.
Msybe not every requested sequence was done?
I had one diagnostic scan before treatment which took a long time to get a proper picture. I had another at 12 weeks but nothing since.
Hopefully it’s just a glitch and your Husbands CNS can put your mind at rest.
