I noticed some swelling underneath my tongue . My radiation Under two years. I am wondering, is this normal and is is this a side effect of the radiation?
Hi like Dani says I’ve not come across thus always better to check with your cns or consultants medical secretary to get an appointment. I’m 8!years now and was told at my 5 year review always to contact them. Fingers x it’s nothing to worry about.
Hazel aka RadioactiveRaz 35 radiotherapy and 2 chemo 3 rd cancelled. HPV tonsil cancer 7 lymph nodes. 8 years post treatment living a great life. No questions too daft to ask.
I still get some niggly oral issues 3 years after Chemoradiotherapy...worrying but they usually resolve themselves...best to get some professional advice from oncology.
