Hi everyone,

I have a wedding to go to and want my hair permed. I’m 8 months past my radiotherapy and have coloured my hair 3 times since and all has been ok. I’ve been to a hairdressers today and they have told me to ring my consultant and ask but I thought I would ask on here first to see if anyone had any answers. Would be grateful for any advice

Hi Ali. Sorry that no one has replied up until now so thought I would bump up your post to see if anyone has any experience with perms after treatment. Like you I have had several colours but not a perm. Maybe if you can't get any answers you could try a blow dry instead of a perm. It is amazing how good hairspray is in keeping your style in place.

Hi sorry can’t help re perm but I had colours put back in at 6 months. Maybe a call to your cns or Macmillian nurse?
