After a good clinic appointment with ent and no signs of my husband’s cancer in his throat ,and a negative biopsy on an ulcer we thought we were in the clear ,but fast forward 6 weeks ago ,a&e fluid on his left lung, throat cancer has metastasised to both lungs near a heart value and near his transplanted kidney that I donated to him nearly 8 years ago ! Absolutely devastated ,got a phone call with the oncologist next week,to discuss possible immunotherapy, but his general health is awful so not holding much hope there tbh,St David’s are due to see us next week
Oh Netti. I am so sorry to read your sad update. Is your husband at home with you or is he in hospital?

Thank heavens. Have you asked your GP about hospice at home? They were brilliant with my mother in law. They helped the family look after her at home where she felt safe and comfortable. The nurses were wonderful.
