Surgery.in November and December to remove SCC that had spread to neck muscle amd Saliva gland and 2 lymph nodes. Then recommended 30 sessions of Radiotherapy at The Christie on the right side of neck to.get any microscopic bits that may be there.
All 30 sessions completed with the "dreaded mask" on last Friday and I think I've been quite lucky so far. Only side effects I have are a bit of fatigue, skin in radiated area is a little bit red and tender and a dry mouth which I already had due to saliva gland removal. Had no problems eating normally during treatment and I've actually put a kilo on in weight.
Fingers crossed now for a speedy recovery so I can finally get back to work ️

Well done. Having just the one side finely targeted means you’ve escaped the mucositis which floors must of us. Great. Now onward and forward.
I’ve loved the T shirts.
