Duraphat prescription... RANT!

Hi Beau Chapeau, 

I hope you are keeping well. I would insist and explain that you do need to brush your teeth more than once a day. What about your dentist ? Could he/she prescribe some too? You should not have to pay for it.

You don’t want a replacement though. He is being unrealistic but if he’s not open to persuasion have a look at how you’re using it. 
I tube lasts me a month. I brush three times a day using a peanut size blob. You don’t need more or to brush more often  

You shouldn’t have to but you can buy it online without a prescription….. but obviously you have to pay for it and delivery. There are generic preps such as Morningside which might be cheaper

Hi Los a tube now lasts me over a month I use it morning and nighttime just a small pea size blob.  Like Daninsays yiu can buy it online. My dentist will only prescribe every 3 months I once tried ti get 6 months when we were going away but nope not allowed. Now I manage to eke out enough to be in front of prescription. Oh the joys 

morning side  is the same and possibly a tad cheaper try chemist to buy that I seen ti remeber running out once and they sold me a tube but check online first

I'm now thinking of using a regular toothpaste to get rid of all the crap, rinse, then going over with Duraphat to swish and spit, and letting it do its job.. that should see me through to my next prescription.. jeez, the fun never ends!

Yes you can do that. Brush rinse spit then pop a peanut size blob sized dab of Duraphat on the tip of your tongue
