well no quite as I expected but went in to get the results of my PET and MRI scan today. They now dont think the cancer is in my throat as the PET scan showed a mass on my rectum. Now being referred urgently to the Colelrectal team , I guess its a step closer to finding out what’s going on . They think the cells in my neck lymph nodes have migrated from somewhere else so need to find the primary. Just hoping they find it in time. I asked if the PET scan showed cells in my bones or ovaries etc but they said no so holding on to that for now . Marilyn
That’s not what your doctors expected but hopefully they can find what the problem is.
