Hurray I have made it finally to having 6 month checkups with my surgeon after 3 years of 3 monthly checkups. I might even make the 5 year mark this time and be discharged. In 2013 when I had my first jaw cancer I made it to 2019 and was just about to be discharged when another cancer reared it's head. Then in 2019 made it to 2022 and another cancer. My surgeon and I have an ongoing long term relationship (i.e. professional not the other kind) I feel I have been dating him for a long time.
Only another 3 years to go and then we might have a divorce or he might retire. He is so lovely and is so supportive but I don't have to think about breaking up with him just yet LOL.
