Hello everyone. Well we are finally moving with treatment again. It seemed quite a gap between surgery and radiotherapy ( may 19 th) but this week the appointments are rolling in again. Hubby will be having the feed tube fittedPray after a dental, and then in a couple of weeks he’s having the six weeks of radiotherapy. Feeling a little apprehensive but I know there will be tons of helpful information on here to read during this time. Thankfully no chemotherapy is planned,so  once he’s through this he will hopefully be goodPrayPrayPrayPrayPrayPrayPrayPrayPray sending love to all

  • Hi Paula. Well done Mr Paula

Chemotherapy potentiates the horrid effects of RT so it’s good he’s avoiding it.
Thanks for the update and fingers crossed it goes well for you both. Xx

  • Hi Paula.

My fella (T4 NOMO) had a wait of just over eleven weeks between surgery and RT and yes, it does seem the wait is neverending.  But you're almost there now and it must be such a relief for you both.  He didn't need chemo either and like Dani said, your husband may not suffer as much as others who had both did.  Fingers crossed for him, and you.

Please keep updating and there's many here more than willing to answer any questions or offer tips when his treatment kicks off.  My fella had 30 fractions over six weeks, 60 Gy, and coped really well.

    Hugs to you both xxx
