I am starting to see some good progress with my husband. He has lots of energy and is back to being busy. He is breathing much better through his nose. The worst side effect currently is throat pain and dry mouth. His doctor was suprised that he wasn't healed at his last appointment 2 weeks ago. He scoped him and noticed inflammation on the sides of his tongue and a sore on the back of his throat. He recommended dexamethasone to help with symptoms. Hubby did this for 5 days (swallowing it) and now continues using it just as a rinse. He is eating 3 meals a day, but sticking to softer foods for now. I continue to try and be patient and take everyone's advice knowing he is still pretty early in his recovery. Cat scan is June 30th and I am very hopeful!!
Well done Mr Rara.
I had ulcers in my mouth up to 20 weeks. I was on morphine till 12. They can take a long time to go.
