My husband been doing good, goes every 3 weeks for immunotherapy . He now has bad bottom teeth from radiation, now a big expense as his insurance doesn’t pay that much. I wonder if there was anyone else experienced that. I wish there was some kind of help, but not in Michigan.
Hi ChrisB24
I can’t really help but thought I’d just bump this thread up to the top of the list in the hope somebody might pick up.
In the U.K. we are usually left with Maxfac or a dental hospital for any remedial work which is free under the NHS but appointments are scarce and many of us are left waiting.

Hi ChrisB24. I live in Australia so no help to you I am afraid. Here I am looked after by the Dental Hospital as my situation has become more complex over the years so get any dental issues sorted out free of charge. However in the earlier days after my first op and radiotherapy when my needs were not so complex and I was under the age of retirement I had to go to a private dentist and pay the full cost. Fortunately I could afford health insurance so got most of my treatment at a discounted rate although some treatments were still fairly expensive e.g. a root canal.
It seems every country does things differently.
