Hi guys I’m back again for some more of your advice and help. Since I last posted my appointment with my consultant has been delayed for a month and I have not been able to get in contact.
The reason I am on today is that my mucus is not like it was, it is now more like jelly, and I also feel as if there is a thickening under my chin which is impeding my swallow. I wonder if anyone else has had this experience.
TIA x
Thanks Micky, does Carbocisteine do the same job do you think?

Caphosol is used to target orsl cavity issues during cancer treatment, you would have to ask your oncologist about carbocisteine usage .
You could try massage techniques for your chin, NHS search should bring it up.
Michael
Yes it is. I had it during treatment. An effervescent tablet that you dissolve in water
Hi Danni, I am prescribed Biotine mouthwash, what is the difference, do you know?
Lillian
Is it the little pink one I used to get when I was having my RT?
Lillian
No. That’s antiseptic
Caphosol comes in soluble tablets or two liquids that you mix together
