Hi everyone,
Just got back from what I was hoping to be my last appointment with my oncologist, but no discharge again. Apparently the chief radiographer has spotted 3 tiny lymph nodes on my main treatment side from my last MRI with contrast. My Oncologist told me she really thinks it's nothing to be worried about but they have to check it out before any discharge can be done. So I'm being booked in for an ultrasound to see if a biopsy is needed. She checked my mouth and throat ,all ok apart from my tongue having a white coating ,so told me to start brushing tongue and use difflam , keep an eye on it as it may be the start of thrush , but she wasn't convinced that it is. So another possible 4 weeks of waiting ,she said we just need to dot the I,s and cross the t,s . It really isn't nothing to be alarmed about.
I wasn't discharged from my oncologist for five years and four months
If your oncologist reckons those lymph nodes aren't suspicious I would believe her so try not to worry
