I agree with Hazel, only a few days in hospital but a lot of added security

Yes you are goingto need it. But don’t panic. From what I’ve heard with other patients here and with my first husband you get used to it pretty quickly

I have been accepted with the correct marker
I’m hoping for immunotherapy
There have been good results. Fingers crossed. Get onto the team and keep pressing to get started. Get your GP and PALS involved if you have to

Hello Spencerbear,
The immunotherapy option sounds positive if you have the correct marker. I really feel for you and wish you luck. My mother has been having immunotherapy and is possibly about to start radio therapy again. Strangely they previously said she wouldnt be able to have any more. I sympathise with you with all the changes of decision. I wish I knew a bit more about it all.
I hope you get some support from friends or family. Sometimes our loved ones shy away because its so hard for them to watch you go through it. As a support to my mother I try my best but know I cant fix the problem, Its so tough.
Sending love.
