Hi everyone,
i have lymphodema under my chin ,I do massages also have a stretchy neck thingy which my Lymphodema nurse got me to wear ,I find it works really well. Question is , I find that the lymphodema causes a pulling on my throat which makes me want to clear it , has anyone found this if you have had lymphodema? How long does last if it ever goes or settles down?
Six months before mine disappeared. It would creep back every now and then but a couple of days massage got rid of it.

My ENT consultant told me that manual lymph drainage is considered controversial nowadays and just need patience. Apparently it will get better by itself
A lot of late effects clinics would disagree with your ENT. Unmanaged lymphodema can become hard and permanent.
