just a reminder that today is HPV awareness day if you’ve got grandchildren or children approaching year 8 in school boys and girls they can have the HPV vaccine. It’s important that we try to eradicate HOV driven tumours, preventing cancer certainly beats curing cancer.

There is also a catch up programme for teenagers and young adults who missed the vaccine.

Hi yes they do James brought a letter home plus Nicola got an email the term before the immunisation team were coming to school

Hazel aka RadioactiveRaz 35 radiotherapy and 2 chemo 3 rd cancelled. HPV tonsil cancer 7 lymph nodes. 8 years post treatment living a great life.
No questions too daft to ask.

Asking our GPs to put school vaccination leaflets up on their notice boards might be helpful.
