After a year without incident, during a routine post treatment appointment my consultant found a swollen lymph node on the same side as my tumour/surgery.   Sent me for an MRI to check it out.   Result came back today…clear.  We go on to fight another day.

  • Hi Liz. What a relief. Unfortunately those scares can happen from time to time and it is always best to get anything of concern checked out to be on the safe side. Recently I had a sore spot in my mouth that was a bit worrying but same as you turned out to be nothing of concern.
