Hi to all my lovely people who have been patient, kind and understanding during my darkest hours through treatment! I want to say a huge and heartfelt thank you to each and every one of you!

I had my PET Scan and after a stressful wait for the results. I was told they have got it all! I have subsequently had my follow up appointment with my consultant and the maxillofacial team and all is good! A couple of exercises but that's it. So much so I am returning to work on Tuesday!

It's been a journey as you all no doubt have felt during your own experience and it hasn't quite sunk in yet, but I want to thank you all for your unwavering support and kindness!!!

congratulations.. it's a great feeling to be given the 'all clear' isn't it.. I'm surprised that you are rushing back to work so soon.. you really need to be kind to yourself, but only you know how fit you feel. congrats, again

Hi JCPH, that is terrific news! I am hoping for the same outcome myself. I had my left tonsil removed a couple of days ago now and I will probably have to have a neck dissection sometime soon, but fingers crossed, my consultant/surgeon is fairly confident that that should be it for me too, so I'm holding on to that.

Good luck in the future, I'm sure it will be all the more sweeter now!

Thanks Jackie, yes, I will keep everyone posted. Of course my throat is still sore and it is worse at night and sleeping sitting up is alien to me, but I will do whatever it takes. Love and hugs.
