Hypoglossal nerve

My husband has been for 8 week check up on his p16  carcinoma  .he originally had 6 weeks chemo and 35 radiation ,he was on fortisips through peg since. One of them that way and drinking them normally. The problem now is  he is slurring again a lot and struggling eating seems to have gone backwards.the oncologist has taken a look and said he has Hypoglossal nerve palsy  .he has been called back in for another mri today .has anybody else expirenced this problem through treatment of base tongue cancer

    Sorry to hear about your husband. 
    I did a search for you and there is only one other post in all the groups but it doesn’t help at all. 
    I hope things can be sorted for your husband. Do let us know how he gets  on.
