My husband is now nearly 6 weeks post treatment for tonsil cancer and progressing well. He did not have any throat symptoms pre treatment his symptom was enlarged lymph node. He's developed a croaky voice in last 2 or 3 weeks, no other new problems. We've mentioned it at clinic but they don't really comment. Is this just things still settling down? Anyone else experienced similar?
Hi. Yes really common and due to lymphodema in the throat. So just forget about it. Make sure he does his swallow and jaw exercises.
Mine was exactly the same, worse first thing in the morning.
Chin up.
