Hi Ellie. When you get side effects, let your team know, they can give you something for them. Always use the cream after each treatment, not before. Good luck with the rest of your treatment.

Well done completing week 1. I've started week 5 today.

E45 is what I'm using on my face and neck. It seems to be helping so far and Ive been getting itching  the last week.

my mouth is sore but not terrible and I can still eat, even though it all tastes pretty nasty.

The radiotherapy team are brilliant and they will ask you how you are doing everyday. They will help with any problems.

Hi! Just starting Week 5 of Chemoradiation. My neck was getting a little red towards end of last week & I was told to stop using the E45 cream & stick with just the Flamigel I was given in Week 1. Today I asked if there was another emollient I could use between Flamigel applications as my skin felt very dry over the weekend. Again, I was told to just apply even more Flamigel. Now using it 6 times per day.

That's great to hear that your near the end of your treatment. Week 2, and everything is going OK. Radiotherapy team are great here too. Thankyou for the heads up about the cream. Hope the rest goes as smoothly xx 

Hi, I'm on week 4 of RT to my neck. My radio team have told me to only use Flamigel. Not to use anything else, not even moisturiser. Could you ask your radio team if E45 is allowed, as I'd be interested to see if the advise is consistent. Thanks

I was told to use Aqueous cream when I had radiotherapy 

Hi, I'm using E45 cream twice a day. Reccomended by the radiotherapy team. I'm at the end of week 3. Horrible taste in my mouth which makes everything taste the same...nothing...mouth a little sore bit still eating OK.
