I am really struggling at the minute, I am not managing to get anything down orally at the minute because of gunk sticking in my throat. I am managing an extra fortisip but I am weaker now than I was a month ago I just don’t know what to do. I welcome any suggestions please.

Base of tongue cancer. T2N0M0 6 weeks Radiotherapy finished January 2019
I have blocked ears and nose and I am really struggling to swallow the most basic things even coffee and custard I had a visit from the doctor on Friday but he just gave me a nasal spray. My throat is swollen and my ears are blocked and I having to push more water down my peg cos I am dehydrated

i Lilian.when did you last see consultant ?I would give cancer nurse a call and see if you can get an appointment for him to have a look Are younstill taking pain killers inwas around week 13 when I got down to only paracetamol ?
You’re doing right thing keeping hydrated via peg hope you’re putting enough nutrition in as well
