Is it normal to spit blood up ?

Hi Lilian. I’ve answered in your other post but yes. Your throat will be bleeding. The normal sort will be streaks of blood.

I have just had a visit from the district nurse who was really helpful. She is going to ask my gp to prescribe some long lasting morphine for day and night time use plus some thing for my mouth, she was really helpful not like the one that came 2weeks ago. I am feeding via the peg at the moment as I can’t manage to eat anything and I know I can’t afford to lose weight xxx

I have had a cold for 2 weeks and the last couple of days I have been running a fever and temperature.
I am taking soluble paracetamol but I am struggling to get even yogurt and semolina down.
I know that it will have to run its course but I have lost weight and I am concerned that if it doesn’t go away I will lose even more weight. I am literally drained and so weak and I would be grateful for any advice.
