Partial Glossectomy nerve query

Hi there, just over 2 years ago I had a partial glossectomy done, front/side area.

Recently I have been getting a tooth/jaw pain which comes and goes.

I wondered whether it could be nerve related (neuralgia), damaged nerves partially regenerating, I understand they take some time to grow back.

Has anyone else had any experience of this? Doctors have suggested I take pregabalin.

Good afternoon Mr Fox. I have recently had surgery to my tongue so unable to really comment on your post. Hopefully someone may be able to answer your question. Have you thought of contacting your specialist nurse?

Hi Mr Fox.I didn’t have surgery so I can’t help you there but If your doctors have suggested Pregabalin then they probably think it’s neuropathic pain. I’d go with that and try.
Hopefully somebody here will have a little experience to share
