Just wanted to write a short note that a great life is on the cards after treatment. Here I am living a bloomin good and active life on the small holding with my husband Stan, despite all the ups and downs of treatment and recovery ,of sore mouth and not eating, of never seeing the end of the tunnel and wondering if I would ever get better!
The first year was a challenge not to my physical recovery, as I consider I got off pretty lightly, but reconciling my future with the fear of recurrence was difficult. Time heals all as they say. It certainly gives you more confidence. So to everybody starting.....somebody reminded me of what I say often, "My consultant told me the cancer would take a year out of my life and he would cure me." It did and he did.
Oh and the blog's had a timely update
