Hi Steve Cat Dad love the artwork...I am 5 weeks post treatment and still struggling. Are you able to eat ok? I hate my feeding PEG with a vengeance as it seems to represent everything shitty about this disease...but I use it for all my meds, fluids and food as I am unable to swallow. Karen
Hello,
I'm sorry you are having trouble. I am starting Week 5 and my swallowing is still good. I finally caught a break. The doc can't believe I'm doing do well. I make effort to excersise and keep mouth moist.
Either way, I try hard.
Steve
Love the maniac with the tube. You're lucky/unlucky seeing your consultant regularly. I didn't see a doctor of any kind bar once half way through and six weeks after treatment end.
I didn't get way without one. I didn't have a PEG....I would have truly hated that. At least with the NG tube removal was under my control when I didn't need it.
